She was moving quickly of course and for a few moments, she stopped to speak to two female travelers. She was likely trying to find out if they had seen any first order troopers in the area. As she spoke to them, her back turned toward me, one of the travelers noticed us several feet away. Her expression changed - and as it should; Pat was dressed in common clothing (and a Star Wars t-shirt DUH!) - but I was in my Imperial Officer bounding outfit. Mismatch yes, but for good reason - we had a mission to meet up with Vi Moradi in Galaxy's Edge at Walt Disney World's Galaxy's Edge. And after 45 minutes, we finally found her.

Vi slowly turned around, lead by the traveler's change in expression. As she looked at me (Pat wasn't a threat) her expression was for a splitting moment surprise. I say splitting because it almost instantaneously changed to a dismissive look - as if to say "What - Am I supposed to be threatened by you?".

At that moment, I said "Magpie - I'm on a mission from the General with important supplies for the resistance!" I tried to be a bit quiet about it, but she seemed annoyed while being completely unconvinced. At that moment, I pulled out my Star Wars Celebration commemorative amulet - the one with the data pad on one side... And R2-D2 on the other. As soon as I showed that, cupped in my hand yet clear enough to see, she immediately, came towards me, abandoning the two female travelers. As she approached, she said "You're on a mission from the General?" "Yes", I said. "This is a disguise to get by the First Order."

"What supplies do you have?" she asked. I pulled away from Docking Bay 7 cafeteria, over to a more "enclosed" area... and she followed! I put away my amulet and from my cargo shorts, I pulled out the yarn (the label we made is to the right). She looked at it... and for a second she broke character. "You have got to be kidding me!" with a look of disbelief - and a smile! Back in character, with a more "pleased" demeanor, she said "That's for me?" "Yes" I replied and handed it to her. She immediately shoved it in her coat to hide it (you can see it in her her coat in the image below), and looked around for First Order troops - Or Kylo Ren! She looked back at me and said "Puuk said that my kitting skills have suffered since arriving on Batuu." "I hope you still have needles, I wasn't able to smuggle those in for you." I replied. She smiled knowingly and said "Yeah - I have em."

I asked "Can I have a picture so I can show the General that my mission was a success?" "Sure" she said, and asked Pat to come over and "take some hollows for us." A few pictures later, she was off. Mission accomplished!

We walked around the other way, opposite to the way she went. We walked by the Falcon and past the Droid Depot. Just south of the market area, a Cast Member entrance was behind a building. After a few minutes, she went to walk along the path to the entrance. She held the yarn in her hand, looking down at it with a smile. It seems "older" kids can have their fun dreams come true!
